Donation of second hand 10 grade books

The Rotary Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar West undertook a meaningful initiative to support students from economically weaker sections at MPS CBSE Hariyali Village BMC School in Vikhroli. The project focused on collecting and distributing used Class 10 CBSE textbooks, guides, and study materials to students in need. Instead of letting these valuable resources go to waste, the Club reached out to parents of recently graduated students, many of whom responded with generous donations. This initiative served a dual purpose?providing essential academic support to underprivileged students and promoting environmental sustainability through the reuse of educational materials. A substantial number of complete book sets and guides were collected, significantly reducing the school?s reliance on external funding for study materials. Thoughtfully planned and executed by Director?Vocational Services, Rtn. Kumar Pillay, the project highlighted the Club?s ongoing commitment to education and community.
